Reserve or Rent Your Storage Unit
When you reserve a storage unit, we guarantee that we’ll have your preferred space available for you at the location of your choice, free of charge. Alternatively, for your convenience, you can also choose to start your storage rental online, where you’ll be able to select your insurance options and make your first rental payment. Either way, you’ve locked in any specials or promotions available on your selected unit.

Payment Options
How to Pay for Your Storage
We have a number of different ways you can pay for your storage unit. All designed to make payments easy so you can spend less time worrying about bills, and more time enjoying life!
Online
You can pay for your storage unit online at any time, 365 days a year. Balances due must be paid in full using a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), or via Interac debit. You can also prepay online for as many months in advance as you wish.
On-site
During Rental Office hours, you can pay for your storage unit in-person. We accept cash, debit, money orders, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Be sure to call in advance if you aren’t sure of office hours, especially around upcoming holidays.
Auto-Pay
You can speak with your Property Manager about setting up automatic payments on your account, at any time, and never worry about missing a payment. All you need is a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). As an additional method for automatic payments, you may also set up pre-authorized debit from your bank account.
Payment Terms
Unless otherwise specified by your Property Manager, your rent is due on the 1st of each month. It’s best to pay your rent on-time and in full each month to avoid being charged a late fee.
Moving Out
Time For A Change.
As your needs change, we can change to meet them. Whether your need to move to a different size, or move out altogether, here’s how it works.
Move Out Notice
All Public Storage lease agreements are month-to-month. You can move out at any time with 2 day’s written or verbal notice.
It’s helpful when you provide us with more notice, including specific dates you plan to move, but it’s not necessary.
Pro-Rated Rent
Not able to move out by the end of the month? We understand that sometimes you just need a bit more time. If you give us enough notice, we may be able to provide you with a pro-rated rent charge up to the 7th day of the month, so you won’t have to pay another full month’s rent for a few extra days’ stay.
Please contact your location’s property manager in advance of scheduling a move-out, in order to make such arrangements.
Move Out Day
On your scheduled move out day, simply remove all the contents from your unit, including your lock. Finally, please notify the Property Manager when this is completed for a quick inspection. They will also close your account from our system.
